Small granule size allows excellent metering and flow through small neck cases. 2200 is a double-base, flat ball propellant that also works extremely well in 222 and 223 cartridges with light bullets from 36 to 45 grain. Very fine, meter’s very well in powder measure! My CZ Varmint 17 Hornet love’s it, will group under an inch at 100 yds. all day, I use 12.9 gr. pushing a 20 gr. Nosler! I highly recommend it!

I use this powder with 55 grain fmj bullets for .223, and it works great in my AR with a 16″ barrel. I’ve never had any cycling problems using 22.3 grains of AA2200 loading to 2.23″ OAL. Use for plinking, but can consistently hit 4″ steel at 200 yards.
