OK folks, I have been surfing for .357 powder for some time and had no luck. That is until “Reloading suppliy” showed that VIHTAVUORI N105 was available in 1lb lots. Very expensive, yet designed just for the .357 Magnum and the like.

I use N105 for deer hunting loads in a long-barreled 10mm pistol shooting 180 grain Nosler JHPs. You have to go way above book max, and that means slightly compressed loads. My pistol shows no signs of pressure with these loads, shoots very accurately and very clean. 1300 fps is where I’m at with my loads. This is with a fully supported aftermarket barrel. Factory barrel in G20 causes smileys with 1300 fps loads.
